is a cross linked and glass filled UHMW-PE material that has been modified to enhanced wear resistance for applications where abrasion is a significant factor. TIVAR® 88 has been an industry standard for over forty years in bulk material handling. TIVAR® 88 is available in gauge thicknesses of ¼” to 2”, in a standard sheet size of 4’ width x 10’ length.
is a silicone, oil-filled UHMW-PE. It offers the lowest coefficient of friction (C.O.F.) surface available, with a dynamic C.O.F. of .08 per QTM test method 55007. TIVAR® 88-2 can be butt and extrusion welded to produce drop-in liners or oversized panels. TIVAR® 88-2 is available in gauge thicknesses of ¼” to 2”, in a standard sheet size of 4’ width x 10’ length.
TIVAR® 88-2 Electro Static Dissipative
is a silicone oil filled UHMW-PE that is static dissipative. Modified to exhibit anti-static properties, its surface resistivity ranges from 105 to 109 (ohms/cm2). TIVAR® 88-2 ESD can be butt and extrusion welded to produce drop-in liners or oversized panels. TIVAR® 88-2 ESD is available in gauge thicknesses of ¼” to 2”, in a standard sheet size of 4’ width x 10’ length.
TIVAR® 88 with Burnguard
is a modified UHMW with flame retardant properties and used for applications where the material could potentially be exposed to combustive atmospheres or environments. TIVAR® 88 with BurnGuard has flame retardant properties and has a UL Laboratories 94V-0 rating and MSHA approval. TIVAR® 88 with BurnGuard is available in gauge thicknesses of ¼” to 1”, in a standard sheet size of 4’ width x 10’ length.
is a modified UHMW, formulated to maintain key performance properties by reducing the oxidation rate in operating environments up to 275° F. TIVAR® H.O.T. excels in chemical and thermo-cycling applications, meets FDA guidelines 21 CFR178.2010 and 21 CFR177.1520, and is USDA compliant. TIVAR® H.O.T can be butt welded and extrusion welded to produce drop-in liners or oversized panels. TIVAR® H.O.T is available in gauge thicknesses of ¼” to 1”, in a standard sheet size of 4’ width x 10’ length.
is an ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene material produced from virgin grade resin, with an average molecular weight range of 3.1 to 6.2 million. This molecular weight average meets the test standard as established by ASTM D 4020. TIVAR® 1000 complies with FDA, USDA and 3-A Dairy guidelines for food processing.
is a specially formulated grade of polymer liner that is engineered for parcel handling chutes. This polymer material has a dry lubricate additive that lowers the surface friction of the product without causing oily build-up. Transfer chutes that are constructed for the parcel handling facilities will typically have shallow angles (20° to 40° from the horizontal), which can lead to boxes and packages hanging up. DrySlide has an extremely low coefficient of friction surface (.08 static C.O.F.), which allows boxes and packages to slide freely. DrySlide also has a carbon pigment additive that serves to reduce static build-up.
TIVAR® Metal Detectable
is a modified UHMW-PE that is FDA and USDA approved safe for food contact and can be traced by standard metal detection equipment. TIVAR® MD has a nil moisture absorption rate reducing wear and bacterial growth. Its nonstick properties keep bulk materials flowing and reduces the need of continual scraping, lowering maintenance costs and downtime. TIVAR® MD is commonly used for conveyor guides, scrapers, rub rails, funnels, feed chutes, and rollers.
