Weld Washers and TIVAR® Plugs

Weld washer attachment fasteners are a ”non-through bolt” attachment system for TIVAR® 88 liners. Weld washer attachment fasteners consist of either a carbon steel or stainless steel embossed washer that is counter sunk into the TIVAR® 88 material, electro welded to the mating substrate and covered with a compression fit plug of TIVAR®. The resulting attachment fastener is surface flush, minimizing the point of contact with bulk materials and provides a smooth finish surface. Weld washers can be used to attach TIVAR® 88 liners in thicknesses of 3/8” to 2”. Two stage counter bore tools are available.
