A new hopper install specified the use of TIVAR 88 to assist with improving the flow by utilizing TIVAR’s world class coefficient of friction. The picture shows the use of T-profiles that protects the seams between vertical panels. The T-profiles allows for thermal expansion of the panels thereby preventing liner buckling and it prevents material from getting behind the liner which could damage the hopper. For this application, they were able to use the standard TIVAR capped elevator bolts to affix the liner to the substrate.
