IVAR® H.O.T. is a modified UHMW formulated to maintain key performance properties, by reducing the oxidation rate, in operating environments up to 275° F. TIVAR® H.O.T. excels in chemical and thermo-cycling applications, meets FDA guidelines 21 CFR178.2010 and 21 CFR177.1520, and is USDA compliant. The low coefficient of friction surface of TIVAR® H.O.T. makes it a perfect material for conveyor wear strips in the grain and baking industry. TIVAR® H.O.T. has nil moisture absorption and is chemically inert making it an ideal liner for applications that receive wash downs with harsh chemicals.

TIVAR® H.O.T. can be butt and extrusion welded to produce drop-in liners or oversized panels. TIVAR® H.O.T. is available in gauge thicknesses of ¼” to 1”, in a standard sheet size of 4’ width x 10’ length.
