TIVAR® Dryslide

is a specially formulated grade of polymer liner that is engineered for parcel handling chutes. This polymer material has a dry lubricate additive that lowers the surface friction of the product without causing oily build-up. Transfer chutes that are constructed for the parcel handling facilities will typically have shallow angles (20° to 40° from the horizontal), which can lead to boxes and packages hanging up. DrySlide has an extremely low coefficient of friction surface (.08 static C.O.F.), which allows boxes and packages to slide freely. DrySlide also has a carbon pigment additive that serves to reduce static build-up.

TIVAR® Metal Detectable

is a modified UHMW-PE that is FDA and USDA approved safe for food contact and can be traced by standard metal detection equipment. TIVAR® MD has a nil moisture absorption rate reducing wear and bacterial growth. Its nonstick properties keep bulk materials flowing and reduces the need of continual scraping, lowering maintenance costs and downtime. TIVAR® MD is commonly used for conveyor guides, scrapers, rub rails, funnels, feed chutes, and rollers.
